Today we launched Gagulhchugh Nen Gagusun (The land looks good all around), a six-minute short film that takes viewers on a journey through the breathtaking and culturally-significant landscapes of the Dasiqox watershed, with reflections and stories shared by Tŝilhqot’in Elders and community members from Yuneŝit’in, Xeni Gwet’in and Tl’etinqox in Nenqayni Ch’ih (Tŝilhqot’in language)

Upholding Tsilhqot’in language and protecting the area from unwanted mining activity go hand in hand, and are both an important part of the Dasiqox IPCA vision. To support the Yuneŝit’in & Xeni Gwet’in in caring for land, you can make a donation to our ongoing cabin-building fundraiser here – these cabins are critical in providing shelter for stewards monitoring the land, and support passing on cultural knowledge to Tŝilhqot’in youth.
